Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

ReactionTestTimer is operated by Justin Hill. This policy explains what data the site collects, how it's used, and your choices.

What We Collect

Test results

When you complete a reaction time test, your results (reaction times, input method, and device type) are sent to our server to calculate your percentile ranking. These results are stored anonymously -- we do not attach them to any account or identifier that could trace them back to you.

Local storage

Your recent test history is saved in your browser's local storage so you can review past results. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how people use the site. GA4 collects anonymized usage data such as pages visited, session duration, and general location (country/region). Google may use cookies to distinguish unique users. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

What We Don't Collect

Advertising

The site may display advertisements in the future. If ads are added, this policy will be updated to reflect any additional data collection by ad providers.

Third-Party Services

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may collect standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps) as part of normal web hosting. These logs are governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Significant changes will be noted at the top of the page.
